An important and concrete initiative that is testament to the support that the De Rigo family provides both its employees and local young people. Widespread support for all the families and not just a prize reserved for the most deserving students. The Fondazione De Rigo H.E.ART Onlus has once again chosen to extend the study grants this year: in fact, every Group employee received a grant for each child enrolled in upper school and university.
A total of 228 students received the grant this year, with 165 currently attending upper school and 63 studying at universities.
It was finally possible to go back to organising the event in person at Belluno’s Civic Theatre. The value of the initiative to the Group’s families and the sense of sharing experienced through the emotion of this physical coming together, made this occasion even more engaging.
Alongside the De Rigo family and all the employees and their children, the event was made even more magical by the presence of a very special guest: Italian singer-songwriter Tommaso Paradiso.
Tommaso himself has a degree in philosophy and has been awarded 36 platinum discs and 8 gold discs. By telling the story of his own life experience, the artist reminded the young audience present of the importance of studying and commitment in achieving one’s goals and chasing one’s dreams - fearlessly.
“A truly unique evening, awash with emotions. The awarding of the study grants represents an unmissable event for our family; a precious opportunity that means a great deal to us, through which we wish to show support for both our team and territory. To be able to organise it once more on this stunning stage - after years of virtual appointments and events - makes this occasion even more special”, commented Barbara De Rigo, President of the Fondazione De Rigo H.E.ART Onlus. “Once again, this year, we chose to extend our support to the children of all our employees. A tangible contribution that aims to encourage all our young people, supporting them throughout their studies and motivating them to commit to realising their aspirations with both ambition and perseverance”.
